our history

A-1 VACUUM SERVICE was started 30 years ago with one man and one truck. Mitchell Davenport was self taught and began building the business by literally hitting the streets and talking to potential clients. His goal was to provide better service at a better price, ensuring loyal, returning customers. Working his way up from scratch, he purchased a second truck as business increased.

His mother, Julie, scheduled appointments and did her office duties with pencil and paper in the earlier years. The office is now managed entirely by his sister, Carol, who handles all office procedures. His brother, Douglas began driving our second truck, making us a locally owned and 100% family operated small business.
